SugarCRM Tip of the Day - Date Range Search not working
Since the launch of SugarCRM version 6.2, it has been possible for a dedicated Date Range search to be performed within the Basic and Advanced Search sections of modules.
This enhances the original month search previously given as a tip on our blogs by expanding it to search across more than one month or just a few days. It has become apparent, however, that the date range search doesn't always appear to work straight out of the box. In order to resolve the issue, follow the simple instructions below. |

SugarCRM Tip of the Day - Quote CreationThis posting relates to SugarCRM Professional and Enterprise Editions only as Community Edition does not include a Quotes module. If you are creating Quotes and Opportunities at the same time in SugarCRM, best practice is to create the Quote first and then use the "Create Opportunity from Quote" button. The reason for this is simply that by doing this the Opportunity will automatically pull in a lot of information from the Quote (value, expiry date, title etc) which saves time by removing the need for double entry of information. |
